DIRECTIONS (PARKING INFO AT BOTTOM)

The Spirit of Broadway Theater is located in the heart of the historic Chelsea Arts District in downtown Norwich.

The theater is 90 minutes from Boston and an hour from Providence, Hartford, New Haven and Worcester and 2 hours from New York City. Located a few miles off of Route 395 and Route 2 the theater is within 15 minutes of both the Mohegan Sun Casino and Foxwoods Casino and Resort.

From Hartford and Points North:
Route 2 East to Route 32 connector in Norwich. Follow Route 32 connector to end - right lane - downtown Norwich - Washington Street. At third traffic light, ‘Y’ intersection - left lane - Broadway. Broadway becomes Union Street (one way) - follow to bottom of hill. Norwich City Hall is on the left. Go left in front of City Hall onto Broadway. Take first right, just after parking garage onto Willow Street. At traffic light, turn right onto Chestnut Street. Theater is on the right, a brick building with blue awnings.

From Route I-95 or New London Area:
Route 395 North to exit 80E - Route 82. Turn right. Route 82 through downtown Norwich. Route 82 /Salem Turnpike becomes West Main Street. Follow to intersection of Route 2 and 32 - Center Lane - Dunkin' Donuts will be across the intersection - take street to the immediate left of Dunkin Donuts' (Church Street). Follow Church Street to stop sign. Norwich City Hall is across the intersection. Take Broadway (one way street) to the immediate right of City Hall. Take first right, just after parking garage onto Willow Street. At traffic light, turn right onto Chestnut Street. Theater is on the right, a brick building with blue awnings.

Parking is available at many locations around The Spirit of Broadway Theater. In the evenings, patrons may park on Chestnut Street, in the SNET parking lot across the street from the theater, in the parking garage behind the theater or in the lot located directly after the church. During week day matinees, please park on the street only. The parking lot located adjacent to our building is a private lot for residents of ArtSpace, please do not park there.
