2005 Season Show Auditions
The Spirit of Broadway Theater, an awardwinning, innovative, intimate, 3/4 thrust, black box theater located in Norwich, Connecticut, is holding an open call, non-equity audition for it’s 2005 theater season. Auditions will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2004 from 1 to 4 PM, for all nonequity performers. Performers are required to have a brief (not more than 2 minutes), memorized, monologue and 16 bars of an up-tempo song and ballad in the correct keys. An accompanist will be provided. Shows for the 2005 season include 7 musicals and 1 drama; The Boxcar Children (Drama), Falls (World Premiere) A Hundred Years Into The Heart (World Premiere), The Spitfire Grill, Spirits (World Premiere), After The Fair, Baby and Prodigal. Character breakdowns are available at www.spiritofbroadway.org. The Spirit of Broadway Theater operates under a Special Appearance Contract with AEA. Interested Equity actors should submit a headshot and resume for review.
