ARTISTIC DIRECTOR Brett A. Bernardini
Brett is the Artistic Director / Founder of THE SPIRIT OF BROADWAY THEATER / THE BEST PRODUCTION COMPANY INC. He has directed more then 250 productions in his career and has served as Musical Director/Director for such venues as The Thomaston Opera House, The Hartford Children’s Theater, Three Rivers Community College and Preston Community Chorus. In 2000, he was named DISTINGUISHED ARTS ADVOCATE by the Connecticut Commission on the Arts and received a Commendation for Achievement in the Arts from the State of Connecticut General Assembly. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music in Winchester, VA. He has done graduate work at Wesleyan University (Middletown, CT) and Golden Gate University (San Francisco, CA). He is included in the 2001, 2002 & 2003 listings of Who's Who in America as well as a 2002 listing in Who's Who in American Executives. Additionally, Brett serves as President of The Rose City Renaissance - the Norwich Main Street Program and serves on several national new works programs.
